Entrepreneur, filmmaker and art director. Founder of Diaspora.Black, the largest black startup in the country in the hospitality and tourism sector, focused on valuing black culture and promoting racial equality. BACHELOR DEGREE in Cinema from the Federal University of Bahia, AND A degree in Color Grading from the British School of Digital Arts, he has published work in Vogue's digital magazine, broadcast in Italy, Russia and England.
He translated the short film "Motriz", which won an award at the Taguatinga Film Festival. He was a visual artist for Bloco Ilê Aiyê, signing the contents of the block between 2017/2019, including the contents produced from the "Beleza Negra" contest, the largest Afro-descendant beauty contest in Latin America, also between 2017 and 2024.
He has built advertising campaigns through the "California Agency" for brands such as Ambev, Rexona and Multishow. He has more than 80 million views on YouTube and was the director of photography and video editing for FitDance between 2019/2020.
In 2021, his film "Like Onions" was approved for funding by the University of Florida and, later that year, he won the Miami ScreenDance festival. He was part of the media team at Núcleo 55, the production company that manages the careers of Bell Marques and Rafa and Pipo.
In 2022, "Like Onions" entered the official selection of the Black Lives Rising Film Festival. He also had another project funded by UFL, the short film "Oxowusi", which tells the legend of Oxossi before he became king in the city of Ketu. This film has currently been selected for 9 festivals, including the Mignolo International Film Festival in New Jersey, the Denton Black Film Festival in Texas and the Imajitari ScreenDance Festival in Indonesia. Also this year, he joined Amnesty International's team of collaborators, directing and finalizing the audiovisual campaign for the global project Write for Rights, starring Ana Maria Cruz in Bahia, shot in Tucano and Salvador, Bahia, and ending in 2023.
